LOCAL PHOTOGRAPHY WALK – MIRFIELD, WEST YORKSHIRE

The photographers at MODE VITAL are inviting you to join them on a local photography walk which will hopefully become an established feature in Mirfield and various other locations in the future. These will be sporadic pop up walks and will be entirely FREE for anybody who wants to come along and join in.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to hook up with like minded people, talk about kit, compositions, lighting, the great outdoors and all other aspects of photographic artistry.

This walk is over flat ground in and around the Battye Cut part of the Calder and Hebble Navigation and the Calder Riverside in Mirfield.

We will be meeting OPPOSITE the South Pennine Boat Club, Wood Lane, Mirfield WF14 0ED on the evening of Thursday 18th July at 6pm.

Bring your camera, lenses, tripod and filters if you have any. If you don’t have all of that kit, no worries, just a camera will do.
This walk is all about having some fun, getting out and about in this beautiful location, meeting new people and sharing your interest.
If you’re an experienced camera user or a complete novice, this walk is all about getting together with other photographers and lerning from each other.

Things to remember before attending: Charge those batteries and don’t forget your media cards. We will be taking a gentle stroll in and around the canal and river
area and the MODE VITAL photographers will be there to offer hints and tips if you need a bit of advice.

This walk is all about having fun, enjoying the local area and practising the art of great photography.

The best way to get better at landscape photography is by heading out and experiencing the great outdoors at first hand. Making great photography doesn’t mean you have to go far either. Stunning photo opportunities can be found on your doorstep.

MODE VITAL are not responsible for the safety of anyone participating on this photography walk. Participants attend at their own risk. We do advise participants to be vigilant and sensible in and around the river and canal area.

There is limited parking outside the meeting place but there is ample parking along Huddersfield Road above the football fields.
